Keeping Family Photography All About You
To me family photography is all about your story so I like to keep things as natural as possible. Find an outside spot and just watch and click as you guys be you.
With family portraits, I think simple is key. I can help you with styling guides, but the main thing is is for you to feel yourselves, so only wear clothes that you’re comfortable in etc. I advise to steer away from branded logos and stick to neutral colours, you can’t go wrong with blue denim, black, creams and browns. However, if you’re just not ‘that’, and you want stripey leggings with a tutu then that’s what we’re gonna do!
Being a Mum myself I understand how to get the best reactions from your children – making them laugh, keeping them distracted, hey I’m all over a bit of bribery if you’re down for it.
My style is pretty filmic. I love sessions to feel editorial and fine art, i want you to have scroll worthy photos that you can’t wait to hang on the wall! The goal is ‘mag worthy’ – the below pic was published in Vogue Photo.
I also do portfolio headshots for model look books – this is Maggie – what an absolute stunner!
‘I had a family shoot with Kayla a few weeks ago, she made us feel super confident and made it so fun. I would recommend her a million times over….organised, personable, professional and so lovely.’

If you’re interested in a family photography session then get in touch. I’m based on the border of Berkshire and Hampshire, about 45 minutes from London, but the Mustang’s got a full tank so I can go anywhere – I’ve heard Ibiza beaches are absolute beauts at this time of year (jokin not jokin). x
